The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences encourages student participation in academic, professional, and environmental activities to support holistic development.
Lakshya Academic Club – an academic initiative founded by KAIRA Students Union (2022–23) and later handled by Aagneya Students Union. Under this club, a WhatsApp group was created where daily GPAT MCQ series along with other study materials were shared. The club aimed to keep students updated on KUHS notifications, including examination timetables and result announcements. It also provides sorted university question papers and other relevant study materials.
The Students Union, along with faculty members, established a Journal Club where students present previously published research journals. These presentations are conducted on the third Saturday of every month and aim to familiarize students with current research articles and journals.

The College Union initiated the development of a Herbal Garden in the basement area of the college. Medicinal plants for the garden were procured from Nagarjuna Herbals, promoting awareness of medicinal plants and their importance.
The Forest Club was founded to promote students’ interest in nature and plant care. As part of its activities, students actively participate in watering and maintaining the medicinal plants in the Herbal Garden, fostering environmental responsibility.
KUHS Central Zone Vidyarthini Camp 2024 was conducted on 30 September 2024 at our college. The seminar was organized in association with KUHS Students Union and the College Union.
The College Union organized a Dance Workshop to encourage student participation and interest in cultural activities.
The Union set up a library functioning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., providing access to academic books for students.
A Union Helpdesk was established for the incoming 2024 batch to assist students with the admission process and hostel facilities.
As part of the 63rd National Pharmacy Week, a national seminar was conducted at Golmedex Hall. The seminar was inaugurated by Hon. Minister V. N. Vasavan and organized jointly by the College Union and IPA.
A career guidance class was organized by the Students Union along with an Overseas Pharmacist Assessment Program workshop led by alumni (2016 batch) Ms. Naurin Banu.
The College Union under the Lakshya Academic Club conducted monthly GPAT Mock Test Series through online mode. Active student participation encouraged the Union to continue the initiative regularly.
A Scholarship Cell was established to create awareness among students regarding various scholarships available for the course.
The College Union proudly conducted the convocation ceremony of the 2019 batch. The Guest of Honour was Dr. C. P. Vijayan, Vice Chancellor, KUHS.
Chess, Badminton, and Football tournaments were conducted along with the annual Sports Day.
