Discipline and Rules

General Rules

Working hours for classes are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The college office functions from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• Students must observe order and silence at all times, especially during working hours.
• Students are forbidden to address higher authorities or the Government directly. All communications must be routed through the Principal.
• Students shall not participate in political agitations against the Government or authorities.
• No meetings, demonstrations, entertainment programs, or fund collection are permitted without prior approval.
• Students are prohibited from participating in acts of indiscipline in other colleges.
• Affixing posters or displaying materials on college premises without permission is strictly prohibited.
• Wearing the identity card inside the campus is mandatory.

Attendance and Leave Rules

• Students must be punctual for theory classes, practical sessions, and clinical duties.
• Students should be present in classrooms at least five minutes before class commencement.
• No student shall remain absent without satisfactory explanation.
• Leave applications must be submitted through the Class Teacher to the Principal in advance.
• In unavoidable circumstances, the Class Teacher must be informed via telephone.

Library Rules

Library Hours

• Monday to Wednesday & Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Thursday: 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM

Reference Books

Reference books may be used inside the library only and shall not be issued.

Entry Rules

• Identity card is mandatory for entry.
• Students must fill the log book at the entrance.

Issued Books

• Books can be kept for 7 days.
• Renewal for another week is allowed upon return.
• Maximum holding period is 14 days.

Fines & Loss

• Fine will be imposed for delayed returns.
• Damaged books must be replaced within 10 days.
• Lost books will attract a fine equal to double the book value.

Library Etiquette

• Bags are not permitted inside the library.
• Mobile phones must be switched off.
• Absolute silence must be maintained.
• Food and beverages are prohibited.

Hostel & Mess Rules

Mess Rules

• Mess is compulsory for all inmates.
• Maximum of 10 days mess cut allowed per month.
• Extended mess cuts allowed only with valid proof.
• Mess fees must be paid before the 10th of every month.
• Food must not be taken outside the mess.
• No outsiders allowed inside the mess hall.
• White coats must be removed and hair tied before entering.

Mess Timings

• Breakfast: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
• Lunch: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Dress Code / Uniform

Students must maintain a professional appearance appropriate for academic and clinical environments. Casual clothing such as jeans, graphic t-shirts, shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing attire are discouraged.

Wearing clean, full-length white laboratory coats is mandatory during laboratory sessions. Closed-toe shoes are compulsory, long hair must be tied, and loose accessories should be avoided.

During clinical postings, students must strictly adhere to hospital dress code standards with name badges clearly displayed.
